Westholme - supporting the University of Huddersfield

The second year occupational therapy students from the University of Huddersfield have recently benefited from an additional study day focusing on assessing for and using manual handling equipment.

Westholme agreed to extend our training this year to accommodate the occupational therapy students studying at the University of Huddersfield. This opportunity has complemented the university teaching in manual handling, and has further developed the students knowledge and practice skills in assessing for and using a range of moving and handling equipment.

Students and staff who participated in the study day found it a really positive and enjoyable learning opportunity.
